Trying to spin situations like this into feel good stories is the media's attempt to hide the harsh realities of the system by distracting you with one small little story. The millennial forced to live in a car. The little girl forced to put her childhood on pause to collect money for her sick father's life saving surgery. The bible that survived a fire that destroyed everything else and killed everyone. And people buy it. But it is blatantly obvious that these stories should not happen in a modern society.
